TEXAS, United States. - Three people were killed Monday in a shootout that erupted when police went to deliver an eviction notice on a house near the campus of Texas A & M, police said.

Those killed were the Brazos County Sheriff, Brian Bachmann, who was to deliver the notice shortly that afternoon, a 43 year old man, and the attacker himself, 35, said deputy head of the Police College Station, Scott McCollum.
